Corda Theater – bringing corona-safe events for 200 persons back to life

Corda Campus, the technology and innovation campus in Hasselt, together with the events agency To The Point Events, is launching the Corda Theater: an innovative, flexible and safe venue to hold events for up to 200 participants with peace of mind. The brand-new event venue is located in the Corda 5 building, which offers multifunctional facilities for holding corona-safe meetings, conferences and events. Over the past few months, Limburg agency To The Point Events, which is also located within Corda Campus, has been carefully expanding its expertise on organising and supervising gatherings safely and keeping the Corda Theater on the right track.

The Corda Theater is capitalising on the huge demand from businesses for an innovative, flexible and safe method for holding events, large meetings, or conferences. ‘We can hold meetings for up to 80 persons in Corda Conference but we have noticed increasing demand for a larger, more flexible event location which is corona-safe and kitted-out with high-tech devices, adapted to the needs of the company’, explains Raf Degens, Corda Campus’ General Director. ‘The Corda Theater combines all these considerations and is a great addition to our existing conference service. The collaboration with Corda resident To The Point Events is also very much part of the Corda DNA; we are fulfilling the demand from businesses and groups by joining forces and launching a highly innovative concept.’

The Limburg events agency To The Point Events is adding its valuable support to the expansion and launch of the Corda Theater. The multifunctional space which covers 1600 m² offers a flexible area which can host both small and large groups. The theatre setting offers 200 people an opportunity to meet safely and efficiently. The break-out rooms around the theatre also give smaller groups a chance to exchange ideas in real life. The space is fully fitted out with high-tech audio and lighting installations and the ‘cherry on the cake’ is a super-sharp, 15 m² LED screen which you can follow closely from anywhere in the room. The To The Point Events’ team has gained extensive experience over the past few months in safe gatherings of people and this is now being applied to the Corda Theater.
