Palmki is a digital key that uses the PALMSECURE technology from Fujitsu.
It is a user-friendly biometric authentication giving access to locations, machines, data, payments, etc.

Why biometrics?

Biometric characteristics are unique, personal characteristics, with which a person’s identity can be checked and confirmed. Biometric data is not transferable to other persons, which is the case for badges, keys and passwords.

Another advantage of the use of body characteristics for biometric applications is that they cannot, in principle, be removed.  You always have them “at hand”…

What is PALMKI?

PALMKI is literally a Palm KEY, a user-friendly biometric key. This authentication is based upon PalmSecure. This is a highly reliable method based on vein pattern recognition developed by Fujitsu. More than five million vein pattern reference points are captured by the highly accurate infrared sensor.

The technique is currently the best available method in the field of biometric security. Scanning a palm works quickly and accurately, and has a high score on user friendliness.
