CORDA SHARED CARS

The shared cars have dedicated parking spots at the charging stations behind Corda 4 and Corda 5, so you don’t have to worry about an empty battery.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Before you can hit the road, you need to create an account on the Hertz 24/7 app.

1) Download the app (Apple / Android)

2) Choose the location, date, time, and vehicle.

3) Then select the payment method. To add another payment method, click on “Payment methods.”

4) To confirm your booking, agree to the rental terms. If you click “no,” the reservation will be canceled.

5) You can view all your bookings under the car icon with “bookings.”

USING A SHARED CAR

1) To check your next booking, click on the black circle with the “H.”

2) Five to ten minutes before the booking, the status changes from “confirmed” to “ready,” and the license plate becomes visible.

3) Once at the car, click “start rental.” Note: A Bluetooth connection is required since your phone is the key.

4) Report any damages in the app.

5) To ensure your data is secure, take a new selfie, which Hertz will compare to the one taken when you created your account.

6) Confirm the terms and conditions, which you can review anytime in the app or via email.

7) To unlock the car, click on “virtual key,” where you’ll also find the mileage and charge level.

8) Back at the campus? Click on “end rental.”

9) Plug the car back into the charging station and report any damages.

10) Don’t forget to take your belongings and close the windows, doors, and car.

11) You will receive an invoice within 24 hours.
