LEONI Cable Belgium

LEONI Cable Belgium is located at the former Philips production halls in Hasselt. In fact, CWA, which later became LEONI, was once a Philips department for manual cable production. In the early 80s the production process was partly automated. In 1990, the department became an independent entity, Cable and Wire Assemblies. In 1998, this company was acquired by LEONI, a German group specialised in cable and wire production. Today, LEONI specialises in the production of cable harnesses for the automotive sector, cable sets, power cords and accessories for electric and electronic applications for professional and consumer use, design and application of frontier technologies, optical fibre, optical splitters and plugs that can be used all over the world. LEONI Cable Belgium Hasselt mainly focuses on sales in Europe, Key Account Management, Product Management and Quality Control. The Hasselt site is also used as a distribution centre. LEONI has a large team of 63,000 people spread across 31 countries.
